Very nice early winter stay! Quiet. Comfortable. Friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast! A great place to settle in for the night when touring the wine country or southern Illinois!

Didn't stay the night, but dropped by during the eclipse for cake and coffee. Great building, interesting art, nice folks and good food. If I were ever in alto again, I'd give the BnB a try based on our experience with the proprietors.
